ABOUT COHBC
Bishop Allen L. Bruton is the founder of City of Hope Bible College. God gave Bishop Bruton a vision and a mandate to establish an institution of higher learning and a means of training the Body of Christ. By following the vision that God gave him many years ago, in 2009, Bishop Allen Bruton launched the first City of Hope Bible College. With the Lord's help, Bishop Bruton has established something remarkable for the Body of Christ through the COHBC. Over the years, many students have chosen the COHBC for their educational needs. The COHBC has awarded many students a certificate, an associate's degree, and a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. In 2017, COHBC launched its first master's class in Biblical and Pastoral Studies. We have now had several graduating classes receive their master's degrees in Biblical and Pastoral Studies. We have since rolled out our Doctorate program that commenced on April 14, 2022. The City of Hope Bible College currently has three campuses located in Greer, SC; Gaffney, SC; and Greenville, SC. Officials plan to launch two more schools: one in Mount Holly, NC, and another in Anderson, SC.
The City of Hope Bible College is an accredited institution for all people interested in furthering their knowledge of the Bible. The City of Hope Bible College (COHBC) is an affiliate of the International Bible Training Center (IBTC) in Daytona Beach, FL. COHBC has received full accreditation from the Transworld Accrediting Commission International (TACI).
